hole in my life

got canned yesterday at 12:07 p.m. feel amazingly fine about working for a company for nearly three years and getting thrown to the curb because i did my job and always went over and beyond but apparently that's never enough for that company. God only knows that i'm better off without them. been spending the last three days with the girl and things are looking up. monster.com works wonders sometimes.

sometimes you find yourself in strange places. i ate at what i could swear was the only white tablecloth place in South Dakota last month yet find myself eating the best jambalaya in years here in Madison, WI. shit happens.
