Christmas time is here

So says Charlie Brown.

Raining and maybe 50 degrees outside.  Sitting on a friends couch, listening to music from a time when I thought I would be somewhere else, somewhere in a better state of being.

Getting older doesn't equate wisdom.  I've learned this far too hard these last few years.  Comparison with my own family only leads to idiocy and tears.

I always wondered what losing it all looked like.  I'm doing a pretty damn good job.
