trampled under foot
the life of a cook is bizarre. strange, bad hours, living life on the edge of our teeth. i met up with a few friends after work today (one of whom i happen to be boinking)(one of those words i want back in the vernacular) and while i'm still here alone things are decent. nearly clean place, laundry done, garbage awaiting, and a new car. if you can call 1993 new.
bought a Chevy Cavalier yesterday, finally got wheels again. very strange getting to work in five mintues rather than 50. a few repairs over the weekend, the humdrum paperwork and such, and everythings' golden. life is beautiful.
leaving town next Monday. even better.
