sick but not sick. everything hurts but i'm functional, aside from being unable to sleep. re-reading The Songlines while i wait for the Metro these days, and funny how fitting it is. tracing the stories of places while i try to find a place...

i feel like these past two years have been a test of fire, seeing how much i would and will put up with, both personally and professionally. not coming out clean, but you never do in these cases...especially when it seems like your job is on the line every day and you wor for CPAs who think they know how to run a restaurant business.

i think i could find a life for myself here in DC. as much as i miss CLT i like it here. doesn't help that over the last three months i've spent only 10 days in NC. and the way things are going, i won't be back until after the new year.

i miss her. first time in five nites we're not together. can't figure it out...

i really like her. no joke. don't know how i finally found someone sane enough for me.
