hole in my life
got canned yesterday at 12:07 p.m. feel amazingly fine about working for a company for nearly three years and getting thrown to the curb because i did my job and always went over and beyond but apparently that's never enough for that company. God only knows that i'm better off without them. been spending the last three days with the girl and things are looking up. monster.com works wonders sometimes.

i suppose what i should say is that i gave notice two days previous and the big dog came into town because it would have been a damn shame if i had left on my terms rather than theirs.
i guess it's what you call executing the "employment at will" clause.
